October 25, 2018
Zorganics Institute Beauty and Wellness, a Bellingham school for anyone seeking to start or advance careers as cosmotologists, estheticians and nail technicians, recently opened in Bakerview Square at 410 W. Bakerview Road, No. 112.
Zorganics Institute is directed by Frida Emalange, president of Zorganics LLC, who has operated salons and day spas in Bellingham and Bellevue since 2001. Emalange also developed a comprehensive Zorganics brand of organic hair and skin products.
”Our principles are based on a holistic approach to beauty, health, wellness and overall well-being on an individual level,” Emalange said. ”Beauty comes from within and this shows in our products, our educators and our employees. We utilize Ayurvedic principles combined with a modern approach in order to reveal the beauty that was always there.”
The Zorganic Institute’s courses cover barbering, cosmetology, esthetics, master esthetics, nail technology, instructor training, post-graduate classes and Zorganics makeup. Massage classes will be offered soon. The courses range from six months to just over a year long.
A student salon will offer many services to the public and cancer patients will receive free services from the student salon year-round. Students will be under the supervision of licensed instructors.
Since the school is licensed by the Washington state Workforce Board, students may apply for federal funds through tuition and assistance programs. Zorganics Institute also has its own scholarship programs.
