Students who need to balance work and life obligations with school now have a more flexible option to earn their degree at Whatcom Community College. Evening and online classes at WCC provide students and working adults the opportunity to attend college part-time and work toward an associate in arts and sciences degree.

Students take two classes each quarter during fall, winter and spring. Classes are held on-campus Tuesday and Thursday evenings or online. An optional 8-week summer session is available each June – August. This evening degree option typically takes three years to complete. Graduates will be ready to transfer to a university or move up in the workforce. Whatcom also offers several fully online degree options.
“As an adult student returning to school, it was very important to be able to take classes that fit around my schedule. Having access to evening classes that only met two times a week was critical to my success,” says WCC student Amanda, who is majoring in marine biology.
