Peoples Bank Appoints Kamyar Monsef as Chief Retail Banking Officer

Peoples Bank, a locally owned and operated, independent full-service community bank with over $2 billion in assets, announced the appointment of Kamyar Monsef as Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer. Kamyar has 20 years of banking experience, specifically focused on retail banking and consumer/mortgage lending.
“We are very excited to welcome Kamyar to the executive team at Peoples Bank, where he will lead our retail banking operations,” said Lisa Hefter, Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative & Risk Officer. “Kamyar will be instrumental in cultivating the next generation of front-line bankers while serving the diverse retail banking needs of our customers.”
Kamyar has lived and worked in Whatcom County for 24 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and communications from Western Washington University and graduated with honors from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He also completed the Washington Bankers Association Executive Development Program.
