For the first time ever individuals can register to vote until 8:00 pm on Election Day!  Beginning with the August 6 Primary Election, you can register to vote or change your address until 8:00 pm on Election Day by coming into the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office.

To avoid lengthy wait times, County Auditor Debbie Adelstein encourages individuals to register to vote or make address changes online at www.myvote.wa.gov.  Alternatively, individuals can mail a registration form to the Auditor’s Office.  Voter registration or address changes both online and by mail must be received in the Auditor’s Office eight days before Election Day, or Monday, July 29th

After July 29, you can still register to vote or change your address until 8:00 pm on Primary Election Day, August 6, by going in person to the Auditor’s Office, Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Ave., Suite 103, Bellingham.

Registration forms, election ballots, voting assistance for elderly or disabled persons, and other election and voter registration information are available at the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office, 311 Grand Ave., Suite 103, Bellingham.  Voters may also call the Election Division of the Auditor’s Office at (360) 778-5102.  We accept relay calls.
