Wednesday, May 27th from 1:15 - 2:30 p.m.
Dementia Support Northwest has rebooted our HEAD Talks (Health Education About Dementia). Our talk on Proactive Planning on May 12th was a huge success, and our next topic might be of interest to you or your staff:

The Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator, Charles Harriman, from The Bellingham at Orchard Memory Care Residence will talk about the different types of stimulation for those living with dementia, showing live examples of each with their residents and how you can easily recreate these at home and how you can adapt them to fit the different stages. Charles will also talk about why each of these types of stimulation are important and how it can positively affect your loved one. Their Dementia Choir will also perform!

These Talks are being conducted virtually through zoom currently, are recorded for easy access for all, and are free (a donation is always appreciated!). Please share with any of your colleagues or clients that may benefit! Also, DSNW would love for you to get involved as a speaker, please reply if you have topics you could share to benefit those affected by dementia! Your organization would be acknowledged in promotional materials and on our website as a HEAD Talk Supporter and Speaker.
