As the weather begins to warm, we are reminded that Spring is a season of compassion, renewal, and growth. We are aware that travel is limited to essential trips only; since re-opening our doors on April 22nd, we have been taking the necessary procedures to comply with state mandated regulations. We have had a variety of guests stay with us, but we have remained assiduous in allowing recently checked-out rooms to air out for 48 hours followed by a deep cleaning. We want to assure you that staying at the Hotel Bellwether is a relaxing, safe choice. When the time is right for you, a trip to Bellingham is an easy way to unwind and relax.

As the days become longer, we encourage our guests take advantage of the parks surrounding the hotel for a breath of fresh, Pacific Northwest air. There are hundreds of hikes to choose from, a local favorite is at Whatcom Falls Park. Bellingham is surrounded by the fruitful farmlands, offering a beautiful scenic drive with a delicious reward. We are also well known for our proximity to Galbraith Mountain, the mecca of mountain biking and a common ground for Olympic athletes to train.

This past weekend, the Hotel Bellwether invited local musician Marvin Johnson to perform for our guests from our waterfront terrace. Guests were able to sit back and relax to the music from the comfort of their private balconies. Since this exclusive serenade of live music was such a success, we will continue hosting weekend music for our guests to enjoy from the comfort of their rooms while feasting on room service from the Lighthouse Grill.
Weather permitting.
