Vendor Showcase Scheduled for June 12th

Western Washington University (WWU) has an exciting opportunity being made available to many of our local vendors. WWU’s Business Services office is sponsoring a Vendor Showcase which will focus on those small businesses either certified through the state of Washington’s OMWBE office or falling under the definition of their Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) classification. https://omwbe.wa.gov/certification/fees/certification/federal-certification
This event will provide an opportunity for vendors and interact directly with the campus community discussing ideas, networking, exploring new opportunities, and learning more about doing business with a University. Along with meeting the campus community, the OMWBE, the Small Business Development Center, and area procurement organizations will also be invited to participate.
Scheduled for June 12th, 2019, the Showcase will be held in the Wade King Recreation Center strategically located within the center of campus. The event will begin approximately at 10:00 and go through the afternoon. The campus community will be invited to attend as well as other parties from the area. Each vendor will be provided with a “booth” area measuring approximately 150 square feet along with a folding table and two chairs. Vendors will be encouraged to provide additional marketing materials, furniture, and other promotional items. There will be no cost for vendors to participate in this Showcase.

Space will be limited and we will be able to accommodate the first 20 or so respondents. The campus is excited about this opportunity and it will be great chance for you to connect with a variety of key stakeholders.
