Every business person needs two fundamental things to become an entrepreneur: a product or service that someone will pay for and personal attributes consistent with success. This workshop explores the "Lean Start-Up Method" of business planning, which can accelerate the development of your business idea and lead you to a viable market solution quickly. You'll receive the Entrepreneurial Traits Online Assessment and Personal Report that identifies the attributes that successful entrepreneurs possess. Upon registration, you'll receive a registration key to take the online assessment. Upon completion of this 10-minute assessment, you'll receive your results; please bring results with you to class. This course is offered in partnership with SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Businesses.

Using this foundation you’ll be able to understand what will be required to market your business and develop marketing strategies for success. This workshop covers the "big picture" of traditional marketing with an emphasis on creating marketing strategies, understanding the "why" of those strategies.
Recent developments and trends in internet / online marketing all draw on the traditional concepts that will be covered in this workshop.
