Cedar Grove Apartments Welcomed its First Residents in Bellingham

General Contractor Dawson Construction, LLC, in partnership with TRC Architecture, delivered the two-building apartment community a month ahead of schedule despite delays due to winter weather and the COVID-19 pandemic. “It has been a pleasure working with Dawson Construction and TRC Architecture on this project.” Says Kristen Murdock, Property Manager and Owner’s Representative with DCI Property Management. “The apartments, grounds and complex are beautiful; the kitchens give me serious envy. It’s been a real pleasure working with each of you on this project.”
The collaborative partnership between DCI Multifamily/Fillipini LLC, TRC Architecture, and Dawson Construction was instrumental in the overall success of the project. An exceptional dedication to safety from crews and subcontractors onsite resulted in Zero Injuries. The team was able to deliver the project a month ahead of schedule despite delays due to winter weather and the pandemic in early 2020.

Cedar Grove Apartments offers 101 units of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments in two buildings. The modern homes feature Stamped Architectural concrete approaches to building entries, high ceilings and open floor plans with wood-plank vinyl in the living spaces and carpeted bedrooms.
Kitchens include high quality maple cabinetry; quartz counter-tops, eating bars, and windowsills; stainless-steel appliances; and windows allowing ample natural light. All units are equipped with forced air electric heating, low-profile LED lighting, quartz windowsills, and high-efficiency washers and dryers. The ground floor units feature stamped architectural concrete porches with privacy screens and elevated units are equipped with aluminum porches.
Other amenities include a storage building with small storage units and garage storage units, ample bike racks, covered mail area, interior dog washing station and large outdoor children’s play area.
