Thankful for the amazing efforts provided by so many during the coronavirus pandemic, Barron Heating & Air Conditioning is providing free HVAC maintenance service through the end of May to medical professionals and first responders in its Northwest Washington service territory.

During this maintenance and precision tune-up service, Barron Heating will closely observe safety-first, contact-free protocols while examining and changing air filters to ensure the best possible indoor air quality.

“Our Barron Heating family wants to thank all our medical professionals and first responders for the heroics they perform day in and day out,” said owner John Barron. “Our hearts go out to you. You are selfless champions.”

The maintenance service will contribute to better health for our local heroes and their families, Barron said. Under normal conditions, he noted indoor air is 5 to 6 times more polluted than outdoor air. Now, conservative estimates suggest people are spending at least 50 additional hours a week at home, per person, placing much more load on our equipment and filtration systems.

Committed to Improving Lives through its multi-trade teams and Certified Home Performance Experts, Barron Heating provides a wide range of heating, cooling, electrical, solar, plumbing and indoor air-quality services, as well as a large selection of stoves, fireplaces and hot tubs in its Firelight by Barron showrooms.

Barron Heating has become one of Northwest Washington’s largest and most respected home performance experts with locations in Ferndale, Burlington and Marysville. Approximately 150 employees serve customers in Whatcom, Skagit, Island, San Juan and Snohomish counties. Its Ferndale location is at 5100 Pacific Highway, along the east side of Interstate 5 between West Smith and Slater roads. For information, call (360) 676-1131 or visit www.barronheating.com.
