Rocker Bret Michaels to Perform at Northwest Washington Fair

Bret Michaels, former front man for iconic rock band Poison, will perform Thursday, Aug. 16 as part of the Bank of the Pacific Grandstand Entertainment Series at the Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden.
Michaels, a multi-platinum global superstar, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 16. Tickets for his show will go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 3. Grandstand seats will be only $5 and preferred seats are available for $30. The show tickets don’t include gate admission for the Fair, which is required. People wishing to buy tickets before they are offered to the public may join Friends of the Fair by registering for free at https://nwwafair.com/email.aspx.
 
Led by Michaels, Poison became one of the top glam metal bands in the 1980s and ’90s with hits that included “Nothing But a Good Time,” “UnSkinny Bop,” “Talk Dirty to Me,” “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” and “Something to Believe In.” Michaels then launched a successful solo career and became a multimedia star.
 
Michaels, personally and through his Life Rocks Foundation, has helped raise tens of millions of dollars for charity. Having been diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 6, he is passionately devoted to raise awareness of the debilitating disease in hopes of finding a cure.
