2020 Cannabis Solutions Reopening Two Stores With New Safety Measures

Two 2020 Cannabis Solutions stores in Bellingham reopened Monday, March 23 after implementing protocols to improve the safety of guests and team members.
The stores at 4770 Pacific Highway (near the Interstate 5/Slater Road interchange), and 5655 Guide Meridian, several miles north of Bellingham will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The hour from 10-11 a.m. will be reserved for pre-orders from medical patients and others who may be more vulnerable to the coronavirus due to age and/or underlying medical conditions.
All three 2020 Cannabis Solutions stores in Bellingham had been closed since the evening of March 18 due to coronavirus concerns. The store at 2018 Iron St. in downtown Bellingham will remain closed until further notice.
“We had to step back and assess the situation regarding safety and the needs of our guests,” said Aaron Nelson, the Director of Actualization for 2020 Cannabis Solutions.
The two stores reopening have enough room to keep guests 6 feet away from budtenders and other guests, Nelson said. The number of guests inside a store at any one time also will be limited to ensure appropriate social distancing.
To assist guests in obtaining cannabis while allowing for social distancing, 2020 Cannabis Solutions is introducing virtual budtenders via its website at 2020menu.com and Facebook, Nelson said. The idea behind the virtual budtenders came from the idea that many people still desire to consume cannabis during this time of isolation, but they may be apprehensive of spending a long time in a store, he added.
Pre-orders are given priority fulfillment, with a dedicated budtender to process those transactions, Nelson said. For those who know what they want, they can still place an order at 2020menu.com for pickup.
