Family Care Network has strong measures in place to keep clinics safe during the COVID-19 outbreak. This is so we can continue to see patients who require an in-person visit with their provider.
We also need to consider alternative options for office visits, such as video conferencing technology, to support the care of our patients in new ways.
Family Care Network can now provide certain types of care through a telemedicine visit. This offers added convenience for our patients and further reduces COVID-19 exposure risk within our offices.
In the coming weeks, staff may reach out to you to change an existing in-office visit to telemedicine. You may also request a telemedicine visit when you call to schedule an appointment. (Unfortunately, telemedicine is not currently available for urgent care because we do not schedule appointments in these locations.)
There may be times when your provider determines it is better to see you in person. Please understand this decision is made to provide the most complete, appropriate care.
Follow this link to our website to learn all the details about:
  • What you’ll need (a smartphone)
  • How it works (a text from your provider)
  • What it costs (same as an office visit)
  • Types of visits that work with telemedicine (many!)
We highly recommend telemedicine to receive safe, effective care. At this time, it is only for scheduled clinic visits with a primary care provider, however we hope to offer this option in our urgent care locations in the future.
We ask for your understanding and patience as we get started with this new program– it is a new technology for all of us!
