The Port of Bellingham is pleased to announce Alaska Airlines is expanding service from Bellingham International Airport (BLI) with the addition of a third daily flight on the popular Bellingham/Seattle route. Beginning March 14th, travelers will have more flexibility and convenience with an increased frequency of flights.

The new daily flight departs BLI at 6:59 pm, arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) at 7:51 pm. From SEA, the flight departs at 5:30 pm and arrives at BLI at 6:19 pm.

Adding more commercial air service out of BLI is a priority for the Port and the new Alaska flight will be a welcome addition to both leisure and business travelers.

“Travelers love flying out of Bellingham because there are no crowds and parking is cheap and convenient,” said Kip Turner, the Port’s Director of Aviation. “There is strong demand for flights from BLI and we are thrilled Alaska Airlines is adding a third daily flight to Seattle so passengers have more opportunities to choose departure times which best suit their schedules.”
