Guardian NW Title Names Walker to Manage New Bellingham Branch

Guardian NW Title & Escrow has opened a Bellingham branch and appointed experienced escrow officer Tammy Walker as its manager.
The Bellingham branch, offering title and escrow services for real-estate transactions, is located at 3800 Byron Ave., Suite 140, and open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays. A grand opening and Bellingham Chamber ribbon cutting are planned from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 17 with beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres.
Guardian NW Title & Escrow now has five branches with offices also at Mount Vernon, Anacortes, Oak Harbor and Camano Island. Gale Hickok, who was born in Bellingham and attended Sehome High School, is its general manager and majority owner along with wife Marla Hickok. The company was founded in 1970 as Skagit County Title and became Guardian NW Title & Escrow in 2006.
Walker, a Bellingham High School graduate, has more than 25 years of Whatcom County experience as a licensed escrow officer and previously managed another title office in Bellingham for more than 10 years.
