Born in Santiago, Chile to Argentine parents, I carried South American culture with me when my family moved to New York City at age five. Growing up at the intersection of Argentine traditions, Jewish identity, and NYC’s energy shaped my worldview in meaningful ways. Family travels across Latin America deepened my understanding of diverse ways of life and sparked a lifelong commitment to social and environmental justice.
Today, I find joy outdoors—snowboarding at Mount Baker, surfing along the Olympic Peninsula, climbing, paddling, and exploring backcountry trails. I also love gardening, cooking, and getting lost in a good book. Since moving to Bellingham in 2019, I’ve found my heart’s work at Vamos, where I combine my passion for language justice and outdoor access to help build inclusive, welcoming outdoor spaces. What brings me the most joy is creating belonging, speaking Spanish with participants, and witnessing others connect with nature.
