Leadership Whatcom Continuing Education Day

Leadership Whatcom Alumni are invited to a Continuing Education Day with a theme of Crisis Communication. This day is formatted like a typical Leadership Whatcom session full of connection and reflection on relevant and actionable content for leaders.

Liz Purdy, Puget Sound Energy Community Affairs Manager will be presenting How to prepare for communications pre-emergency. RB McKeon, Washington State Department of Transportation Communications Director for the Northwest Region will be presenting Event-based communications strategies. Panelists will also be joining to share experiences and insight into Crisis Communication in Whatcom County. This day will focus on a variety of tools to respond to a range of crisis from reputational risk to event response.
