Event Description:
Leadership skills are not only necessary, they are crucial to success especially as we navigate our COVID and post pandemic economies and communities.

With multiple crises impacting everyone’s world, leaders can legitimately feel overwhelmed. “Leading in Times of Crisis” will be an interactive exploration of the changing landscape, how your brain processes change, and how to bring out the best—in yourself and your team members. Coming out of this session you will have greater awareness of yourself, your environment and the people around you. You’ll learn tips (to help you identify actions) for better resiliency, agility, transparency and empathy. Ultimately, our objective is to help you lead more competently and confidently through crises.

No stranger to change and more than a few corporate crises, Cash Keahey, a global leadership trainer and coach based in Bellingham (and chamber member), will facilitate the 1.5-hour workshop. Cash spent 20+ years inside Fortune 500 companies in a variety of roles, functions and industries. For the last 15 years, he’s worked with 1000’s of leaders around the world, helping them get better at leading and achieving their goals. He’s the author of Eight LeaderTypes in the White House: Discover and Leverage your Oval-Office Leadership Style. He will be teaching Elements of Leadership virtually through Bellingham Technical College starting July 14.
