Veritas Media wins two Wistia awards

Veritas Media Productions, a video marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses and nonprofits 
grow, took first place in two categories in the 2016 Wistia Choice Awards, hosted by Wistia.com. Veritas Media won first place in the Storytelling and Hardworking Video categories for two separate video submissions. The Storytelling Award was presented in recognition of the following video produced for the Lighthouse Mission Ministries in Bellingham, WA. According to Wistia.com, the Storytelling Award goes to the video that “tells the best story, through its script, cinematography or editing.”
Besides the powerful stories in the video, the Lighthouse Mission Ministries has also seen the
tangible effects a video can have on reaching a wide audience. The video is often used at
speaking engagements to quickly show the impact of the work they do. The video has also
received thousands of views on their website and social media channels.
Veritas Media also took first place in the Hardworking Video category which, according to
Wistia.com’s website, “recognizes the video with the highest number of actions taken, including
call to action clicks, email submissions or annotation clicks.”
Wistia.com, based in Cambridge, Mass., is an online site that hosts video for businesses as a
more professional alternative to sites like YouTube.com. The Wistia Choice Awards are open to
all Wistia Agency Partners and winners are awarded for nine categories across video production
