 Understanding Conflict
April 19 & 26, 2-5pm, $95
 
A course on communication and conflict resolution skills applicable to home, community, and work. Participants will learn to listen actively and assert their needs, understand their responses to conflict, and communicate effectively in high-stress situations.

Managing Conflict as a Co-Parent

May 4, 4-7pm, $25
 
Designed to help divorced, separated, and never married parents build skills to manage emotions, be heard, communicate effectively, and reduce co-parenting conflicts.

Exploring Equity & Cultural Humility

May 6, 10am-1pm, $50
 
As human beings, regardless of race, class, gender, or myriad other differences among us, we each need safety, connection, respect, and to be heard.
 
This workshop empowers participants to grow and engage in activities that honor human diversity, promote cultural self-awareness, gain in-depth knowledge of the history of ethnic and cultural groups, and examine historical and institutional power of the “isms."

Professional Mediation Training

May 10-12 & 17-19, Wed 1-5pm, Thu & Fri 9am-6pm, $650

This intensive 40-hour course is designed for professionals and others who are interested in developing mediation and conflict resolution skills. Participants will learn the eight-stage mediation model, conflict theory and styles, mediator communication skills, and principles of conflict resolution. Combining theory and practice, students will also participate in mock mediations and receive a certificate of completion after the course.
