Registered Voters in the City of Blaine to Receive Ballot
 
Bellingham, WA, April 5, 2017:  Ballots are going in the mail today to registered voters in the City of Blaine.  Voters will be asked to approve a sales and use tax for transportation improvements on the April 25 Special Election ballot.  Voters in Precincts 301, 302, 303, and 304, all within the City of Blaine, will be mailed a ballot to their mailing address on record.  An abbreviated version of the local voters’ pamphlet will be enclosed with the ballot.
 
County Auditor Debbie Adelstein advises anyone that doesn’t receive their ballot by Friday, April 14th, to contact the Election Division of the Auditor’s Office at (360) 778-5102 between the hours of 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
 
Ballots must be postmarked by April 25 or deposited in an official ballot drop box by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.  A listing of official drop boxes that will be open for this election is available on the Auditor’s website at www.whatcomcounty.us/auditor or in the voters’ pamphlet enclosed with the ballot.
