Local families looking to welcome spring with song and dance can join Caspar Babypants for a concert Saturday, April 15, at Bellingham Technical College.

The concert will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Settlemyer Hall in BTC’s Campus Center, with doors opening at 10. Tickets cost $7 per family for BTC students and $12 per family for non-students. Tickets are available only online at www.btcfamily.eventbrite.com. No ticket sales will take place at the door.

All proceeds from the concert will go toward scholarships for BTC’s Parenting Education Program.

Fans of the band Presidents of the United States of America will likely recognize Caspar Babypants as the kid-friendly alter ego of singer and bass guitarist Chris Ballew. As Caspar Babypants, Ballew taps into classic nursery rhymes and his own imagination to come up with toddler-friendly tunes that parents won’t mind getting stuck in their heads. Parents are encouraged to bring children ages 6 and younger to the concert.

Parking will be free in all campus lots for the event.
