Travel to University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology

Travel north to the world-renowned Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at the University of British Columbia on Saturday, Oct. 27 with Whatcom Community College. Registration deadline is Oct. 15.
A public, research, and teaching museum, MOA houses nearly 50,000 works from almost every part of the world, and is dedicated to promoting awareness of global cultural traditions with an emphasis on the First Nations peoples and other cultural communities of British Columbia. Participants will enjoy a 60-minute private tour with museum docents, time for lunch at the MOA Café, and the opportunity to stroll through the museum’s stunning grounds.
The group will depart WCC’s campus at 8:30 a.m. and leave B.C. at 2:30 p.m. The $99 class fee includes exhibit admission. Ages 10 and up are welcome to register with an adult. For more information and to register, call 360.383.3200 or visit whatcomcommunityed.com.
