Emergency Reporting, a leading provider of Fire & EMS records management software headquartered in Bellingham, WA, hosted the first “Google I/O Event Bellingham!” last week with organizer Technology Alliance Group for NW Washington (TAG).

Google I/O is an annual developer conference held in San Francisco. Thousands of Google developers attend the three-day event each year, participating in sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open sources.

TAG organized the local Google I/O event, where attendees watched live streaming of the conference at Emergency Reporting's Bellingham headquarters.

Gabe Martin, Development Manager and Architect at Emergency Reporting, says the event was a success, and that ER hopes to work with TAG to coordinate the event again next year. “For those who can’t attend the Google I/O event in San Francisco, this local event was a great opportunity for developers in the Pacific Northwest to come together for an interactive networking opportunity that included luncheons and engaging Google I/O sessions,” Martin said. “The ER development team thoroughly enjoyed the event, and it resulted in great discussions about ways we could incorporate advances in Machine Learning, Conversational User Interfaces, and Progressive Web App technologies into our industry-leading Fire/EMS web platform.”
