Alzheimer's Miles for Memories News Release: 7/17/2017

The Alzheimer Society of Washington is holding its 18th Annual Miles for Memories 5K Walk/Run. This year we are excited to announce M4M’s newest addition: the Shoes & Brews Beer Garden!
Join us on Saturday, August 5th at Zuanich Point Park. Check-in begins at 9:00 am inside Squalicum boathouse. The race start is at 10:30 am. While you are in the boathouse, check out all the cool prizes we will be raffling off. After the race, we will hand out race awards and announce raffle prize winners.
The beer garden, featuring 6 kegs from local breweries, will be open from 12 noon to 4:00 pm. Beer is $5/pint and we will also have box lunches, including hot dogs, chips and a drink, also for only $5/each.
Live music by The Dagwoods and Aaron Bel Cher starts at 12 noon. Please stop by and visit our sponsors’ vendor tables and find out all the wonderful things our community has to offer.
Registration is now open. Adult registration is $30, kid registration is $25 and this year dogs are free! If you would like an event t-shirt or participation medal, the deadline to register for either is July 15th and the cost is $10/each. Visit our website at www.alzsociety.org to register online today.
