Haggen Family 4th of July Celebration
For nearly two decades, the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Haggen Northwest Fresh and the Port of Bellingham to provide the community with its annual July 4th fireworks display.
The festival includes the Haggen Hoop It Up 3×3 basketball tournament, food vendors and craft booths, live bands, and old-time games for the kids. And at 2pm, the beer garden will open!
There is something for everyone in the family at the Haggen Family 4th of July Celebration!
Old time games in the KidsZone sponsored by KAFE 104.1 will begin at 11 a.m. Activities include a water balloon toss, watermelon rolling contest, sack races and a scavenger hunt!
There will be lots of food vendors, so show up hungry!! You’ll want to try everything!
While limited parking will be available at Squalicum Harbor, celebrants are encouraged to walk, bike or use the free passenger shuttles that are open from 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
Free passenger shuttles provided by Lummi Indian Business Council will run from 1:00 p.m. through 11:00 p.m. and pick up passengers at Bellingham High School, 2020 Cornwall Ave. The drop-off point will be the CityMac parking lot inside Squalicum Harbor. Event-goers will then use the promenade pedestrian path to reach the event site.
